01Why a public administration should work with Renovatio
We know the language of public administration. Rigorous reporting, full transparency, compliance with the Public Contracts Code and the Cultural Heritage Code are not a constraint we tolerate: they are the starting point for every proposal we build. Every output is documented and ready to be verified by funding bodies and oversight authorities.
We bring a method, not an isolated idea. We don’t propose one-off interventions. We work through a three-phase process — strategic consulting, content production, promotion and measurement — that accompanies the body from the grant application through to reporting the results achieved in the area.
We know how to find resources, not just spend them. We continuously monitor local and national grants, European structural funds and banking foundations. We support the administration from feasibility pre-analysis to filling in the application, from ongoing monitoring to final reporting.
We build the bridge between public and private. We design and support Public-Private Partnership models for publicly-owned assets: from drafting the agreement to operational start-up, identifying suitable private operators and managing the competitive procedures required by law.

Strategic planning and fundraising. Feasibility and sustainability studies for castles, villages, archaeological sites and museums; strategies aligned with the body’s resources and objectives. Preliminary analysis ensures every project is economically and socially sustainable over time, not just during the extraordinary funding phase.
Institutional communication and cultural marketing. We raise the quality of public communication with contemporary tools — photography, video, digital campaigns, promotional materials — in full compliance with the visibility requirements set by funding bodies. We build positioning strategies to attract quality cultural tourism.
Monitoring and impact assessment. We define KPIs and success metrics from the outset, measuring the social, cultural and economic returns of the actions taken. The administration receives solid, verifiable data on the results achieved for citizens.
Public-private management. We build the business plan, identify suitable private operators and support the competitive procedures required by the Public Contracts Code, drastically reducing the time and risk of a process many bodies are undertaking for the first time.
03Case study — Forte Sangallo, Municipality of Nettuno
The context. Forte Sangallo is a Renaissance fortress of great historical value. The municipal administration needed to develop a sustainable management model that would allow it to open to the public with stable cultural programming, without burdening the municipal budget.
The solution. Renovatio supported the Municipality in designing a Public-Private Partnership model: drafting the agreement, building the annual cultural plan, identifying revenue-generating activities compatible with the site’s cultural purpose, and supporting the operational start-up phase. All in line with Legislative Decree 36/2023 and Ministry of Culture guidelines.

Confidentiality. All documents and data shared are handled in full compliance with the GDPR (EU Reg. 2016/679).

Regulatory compliance. We operate in strict compliance with the Cultural Heritage Code (Legislative Decree 42/2004), the Public Contracts Code (Legislative Decree 36/2023) and specific PNRR regulations.
