San Giorgio Exhibition
Thirty-one videos to tell a myth, one step at a time. The video communications plan for “San Giorgio. Storia, immagini, identità dall’Oriente a Genova” (Saint George: History, Images, Identity from the East to Genoa), from teasers to outreach shorts.
01A plan in three phases
For the exhibition “San Giorgio. Storia, immagini, identità dall’Oriente a Genova”, staged at the Teatro del Falcone in Palazzo Reale, Renovatio designed and produced the entire video communications plan, having been awarded the service through direct assignment by the Musei nazionali di Genova. The project comprises thirty-one video pieces spanning the exhibition’s full lifecycle, from preparation to launch through to its run.
The plan is structured in phases: an initial run of teasers and mystery videos, the official launch with behind-the-scenes footage of the installation and mini-clips, and finally a long storytelling phase with outreach shorts, interviews with curators and restorers, curiosities about the legend of Saint George, and content designed for social media. Filming uses 4K technology, drones and robotic camera equipment, followed by editing, sound design, color correction and optimized reel editing.
