The Offiziolo Durazzo is a highly prized illuminated manuscript, linked to one of the most important families in Genoese history. Renovatio worked on its documentation and outreach, with particular attention to the quality of the close-up shots of the illuminations and to research into the work’s historical context and patronage.
The project is part of Renovatio’s ongoing work dedicated to library and manuscript heritage — assets often kept in archives and libraries and therefore not very accessible to the public: a narrative that combines philological rigor with visual care to convey the full decorative richness of the work.
