For the Genoa stopover of The Ocean Race, the famous round-the-world sailing race, Renovatio produced video and photographic content able to convey both the sporting dimension of the event and its impact on the city. The project documented the arrival of the boats, the Race Village set up on the waterfront, and the energy of an international audience.
The work told the story of Genoa as a seafaring city capable of hosting major international sporting events, highlighting the urban landscape, the port and the enthusiasm generated by an event that brought the city to the center of global media attention.
