Michelangelo Exhibition
From Buonarroti to Genoa, through a collector. Video and outreach content for the exhibition “Michelangelo, Divine Artist”, blending art-historical research with accessible storytelling.
01The Christ Carrying the Cross and Genoa
For the exhibition “Michelangelo, Divine Artist” at Palazzo Ducale, Renovatio produced the audiovisual and outreach content accompanying the exhibition: video filming, drone sequences, photography and editing, combined with a narrative treatment of the scientific content designed to make its complex themes accessible to a broad audience.
Among the materials developed, one highlight is the story dedicated to the monumental Christ Carrying the Cross held in the Monastery of San Vincenzo in Bassano Romano: a story that links Buonarroti’s genius back to the city of Genoa through the figure of Marquis Vincenzo Giustiniani, a great Genoese collector — the hallmark of Renovatio’s work, turning art-historical research into engaging, accessible content.
