01Genoa for Rubens
For the exhibition “Rubens in Genoa” at Palazzo Ducale, Renovatio produced the video and visual content designed to accompany its launch and communication. At the heart of the project is a narrative video that gives voice to Rubens himself: in the first person, the painter recounts his journey across Europe and his fascination with Genoa, «only Genoa with its majestic palaces, its richest churches and villas», inviting viewers to retrace his steps and rediscover the city through the artist’s own eyes.
Around this narrative, Renovatio developed a full set of materials: footage shot around the city and at Rubens-related sites, timelapses, behind-the-scenes content and a coordinated graphic campaign (“Genoa for Rubens”) with visual kit and logos. The project highlights the connection between the city’s heritage and one of its most celebrated artistic seasons.
